We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Compliance Manager, based in our modern head office in Dartford.

Joining the team as a Compliance Manager, you will lead and manage the compliance strategy for Swanstaff Recruitment.

You will have history of:

  • Conducts audits with clients to a satisfactory standard and review results of audits; changing processes and/or conducting training to resolve any issues raised from audits.
  • Inform team members of any compliance, policy or legislative changes that affect their role and ensuring new requirements are met, providing training sessions and literature where required.
  • Fast processing of candidate files from registration to compliant, enabling them to work.
  • Pre-empt any potential compliance or training issues, look for solutions and present findings to the Senior Management team.
  • Conduct any internal investigations as necessary in regard to any complaints received and provide relevant recommendations as well making referrals if relevant to safeguarding and LADO.
  • Ensure the team comply with the General Data Protection Regulations at all times.
  • To develop and implement the compliance strategy for the organisation, monitoring and developing the strategy on a regular basis to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Implement new policies, procedures and workflows where required and updating as and when necessary.
  • Work with other stakeholder to implement new client requirements or existing client changes, updating policies, working practices and training the teams to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Maintain current and implement new policies and procedures where needed.
  • Prepare management reports regarding compliance and training for Senior Management.
  • Review and analyse data reports and look where improvements can be made.
  • Develop and implement key reporting metrics, setting targets for these and reporting on a regular basis.
  • External DBS processing.
  • Monitoring compliance maintenance – right to work’s, DBS update service, online training, occupational health, NMC pin check, NMC revalidation, driving qualification card, driving licences, licence checks every 3 months.

Desirable Experience:

  • Compliance & Risk Management diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of LADO/Safeguarding
