We are recruiting on behalf of a small independent residential home in Ipswich with only 27 residents looking for a Head Chef to run their brigade of 4 kitchen staff.

Job Title: DBS Head Chef

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £21,500 - £23,500 DOE

The role of a Head Chef:

Working as a Head Chef for our client you will be managing every aspect of catering within the location, delivering a quality catering service in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements. Leading the catering team and managing performance. Maintaining compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards. Controlling kitchen stock, equipment and resources within budget.

The right applicant will have done a similar role in a similar environement with a minimum of 12 months management experience.

You will need to hold an in date Enhanced DBS and Level 2 / 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.

This role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota with the team, to commence end of June 2021. Interviews will be held in the next couple of weeks for those who need to provide notice.
