HGV Class 1 Drivers! As the sunshine disappears, allow me to heat up your job prospects with a hot new role that I have available!

If you're looking for an opportunity to enhance your experience within a family-run, welcoming business where you be responsible for acting as the face of the business across some huge contracts!

As my perfect candidate you will have a HGV Class 1 Licence, CPC and Tacho and a valid IPAF certificate. The roles involves the delivery and collection of powered access equipment, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts) through Essex and London.

This is a permanent, full time role offering Monday - Friday working hours, with 1 in 3 Saturdays. You are contracted 40 hours however should expect to work 55 - 60 hours per week (meaning 15 - 20 hours of enhanced overtime pay!).

Salary: £24,128 basic salary (OTE £42,224 for 60 hours)

The Role:

  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and to meet strict deadlines
  • Work in-line with health and safety procedures
  • Deliver and collect powered access equipment such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts
  • Act as the face of the business in front of customers
  • Adopt a flexible approach to working hours and overtime requirements
  • Comply with driver hours legislation and legal policies
  • Work on own initiative to problem-solve

Requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Licence is essential
  • Full, valid CPC and Digitacho is essential
  • IPAF certificate (Demo AND/OR load and secure) is essential
  • Flexible approach to overtime and willing to commit to 55 - 60 hours per week
  • Have a flexible approach to weekend hours
  • Communicate with office staff
  • Manage own time to work towards deadlines and targets
  • Experience in the collection/delivery of powered access equipment is essential
