Job Title: Support worker
Location: Doddinghurst, Brentwood

Rate of Pay: £8.21 - £13.00 P/H - PAYE and limited rates of pay available

The Role of a Support Worker:
The right candidate will ensure the service user is given support at all times; ensuring their health needs and requirements are being met day and night. The role will include supporting their health needs, encouraging independence when acceptable, providing them with different opportunities to expand their sphere of experience and enjoyment, helping them with domestic chores such as; cooking, cleaning and shopping. Help transporting the service users to activities and help accessing the community, bring new ideas to the table to improve the service users well being, assist in monitoring and recording health and behaviour changes in the service users, help to develop and maintain a relationship between others and service users.

Daily duties of A Support Worker:
You will need to be kind heart, passionate about care work and be proactive. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn new things with a driven mind to encourage a service user with independence and to help with their daily needs which will include promoting a positive energy. Must have at least 6 months + healthcare work experience UK based within the last 3 years and a valid DBS (you can purchase a DBS through our online link once an interview has been commenced). Drivers preferred due to location but not essential.

Swanstaff will always be available to give support when necessary due to our 24/7 on call service. Many opportunities await with training at no addional cost and other courses available. A beautiful care home surrounded by landscape in a quite village area with near by shops and restaurants available. You'll also be given the chance to be our temporary worker of the month.
