Swanstaff Swanley are currently recruiting support workers for our client based in Bromley. Our client is looking for support workers for days shifts to support young children in their own homes in Bromley and surrounding areas.

A lot of the children are diagnosed with ADHD, ASD and have challenging behaviour, experience in working with children who have been diagnosed with these conditions is preferred.

Rate of pay:£8.72 - £11.00 per hour

The Role of a Support Worker:

Within this role your responsibilities will include:

  • One to one support
  • Providing personal care following care plans provided
  • Assisting in the family home, this may include assisting other family members
  • Support in daily activities
  • Assisting at meal times
  • Assisting on trips out of the home – activities vary on each child

Requirements of a support worker:

To be eligible for this position you must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, we would need to obtain references to back up your experience.

We are looking for confident, friendly, experienced support staff and candidates who love to work with children.

Due to the nature of this role a full DBS check would need to completed before any work is offered, if you do not hold a valid DBS we can arrange this for you at your registration appointment.

A driving license is preferred but not essential, some of the work will involve travelling out so having access to a car would make this easier.
